St. Bartholomew’s (Dale V. Miller) Memorial Garden and Columbarium will be constructed on church grounds (200 feet
Square) adjacent to the church. It will be handicap accessible and will include

•        an altar
•        benches which will afford space for quiet meditation
•        a waterfall and reflection pond
•        Columbarium niches which will be located in the wall constructed of rock from a local stone quarry

The focal point will be the bronze statue given in memory of Dale V. Miller. Like Dale the statue represents the
outstretched hand in a gesture of friendship, openness and invitation to the entire community.

As we approach our Centennial we are reminded of how St. Bartholomew’s has served the social and spiritual needs of
the community, and this project is a way of renewing our awareness and the awareness in others of the abundance of
God’s blessings, not only with our congregation, but within the community and with those whose lives have benefited
from a relationship with the church.

The project will be funded by the church, through fund raising and private donations, and through the selling of niches
in the Columbarium.
